Our Story

Our first store in Gainesville, FL opened its doors to the public in 2012 at the direction of Brent Spaulding. Following the traditions of the earlier stores, Brent created the area's most trusted specialty sleep shop.

Local Ownership

Brent arrived in Gainesville from the Ocala, Florida stores and brought a tremendous amount of mattress & futon experience with him. Like all of The Sleep Center stores, the Gainesville store provides volume pricing discounts to its customers.

Brent Spaulding lives in Gainesville, Florida, entrenched in the community and he truly cares about Gainesville's success as a whole. You can often find the Spaulding family playing golf or attending a community event supporting local charities. He believes in paying it forward and giving back to help others succeed in life, too.
