Our Story
Serving The Villages Since 2002
The Sleep Center opened its doors in The Villages in 2007 under the direction of Chad Pelt, bringing the same locally focused approach established by earlier Sleep Center locations to one of Central Florida’s fastest-growing communities.
Two decades later, the Parr Drive showroom continues that tradition under owner and operator Brent Spaulding. An extensive remodel completed in 2023 created a clean, modern showroom where customers can explore today’s mattresses, adjustable bases and sleep products in a relaxed, pressure-free environment.

Brent Spaulding owns and operates The Sleep Center in The Villages, bringing years of mattress-industry experience and a genuinely hands-on approach to the business. Before becoming owner, Brent managed The Sleep Center locations in Ocala and The Villages from 2007 to 2011 and later opened The Sleep Center stores in Gainesville.
Today, he remains closely involved in the business, with an emphasis on knowledgeable service, customer education and a shopping experience without high-pressure sales tactics.
